MEET CHRISTIN
Not your typical consultant. That's kind of the point.
Hi, I'm Christin.
I'm a business consultant, executive coach, speaker, professional problem-solver, and unapologetic optimist.
I ask a lot of questions. I challenge assumptions. I get excited about possibilities. And I have a hard time accepting "that's just how we've always done it" as a legitimate explanation.
I've spent more than 23 years in the title and escrow industry, working my way from receptionist to senior sales leadership to the president's office.
But my career wasn't exactly a straight line.
And that's probably a good thing.
Turns out, you don't need the whole map.
Before I found my way into title and escrow, I was a staff accountant. Then a hairdresser. Then a receptionist.
Not exactly the traditional path to executive leadership.
But every role taught me something. About people. About business. About myself.
I learned to ask better questions, recognize opportunities, and trust that I could figure things out even when I didn't have all the answers.
When I became president of a title company, I'd never Presidented before.
Turns out, there's no magic moment when someone hands you the instruction manual and announces you're officially ready.
You learn. You listen. You make decisions. You get some things right. You get other things wrong. And you keep going.
"I've never grown much by doing only what I already know how to do."
Experience changes your perspective.
I've led teams, grown businesses, developed sales strategies, improved operations, navigated difficult decisions, and spent more hours than I'd care to admit figuring out why something that should be simple is unnecessarily complicated.
I've also learned that working harder isn't always the answer.
For a long time, I measured success by what I could accomplish, how much I could handle, and what came next.
These days, I'm more interested in asking a different question:
"What are we actually trying to accomplish, and is there a better way to get there?"
It's a question that works remarkably well for businesses.
And for life.
Curiosity doesn't clock out.
Outside of work, I'm usually exploring something, learning something, or getting myself into an adventure.
I've ridden a Harley, spent plenty of time on a yoga mat, and followed trails with the Hash House Harriers, affectionately known as a drinking club with a running problem.
I believe there's something valuable about getting a little uncomfortable. Not because everything has to be a personal-growth exercise, but because some of life's best experiences happen when you're willing to try something new.
Sometimes you discover a new passion.
Sometimes you get a great story.
Sometimes you just have a really good time.
All three count.
And yes, I once stopped to use a vintage payphone simply because it was there.

On the road and on trail with the Hash House Harriers.
So, what does all of that have to do with you?
Quite a bit, actually.
After years of leading businesses, developing people, and solving problems, I realized the part I enjoyed most wasn't the title on my business card.
It was helping people see possibilities, find solutions, and do something with them.
Sometimes that means helping a business operate more effectively. Sometimes it's helping a leader navigate a challenge. Sometimes it's helping someone get unstuck and figure out what comes next.
I bring experience, curiosity, a fresh perspective, and a willingness to tell you what I really think.
I'll ask questions. Probably a lot of them.
I'll challenge you when it makes sense.
I'll celebrate the wins with you.
And I won't pretend to have all the answers before we've even figured out the right questions.
People. Ideas. Solutions. Action.
That's what Consult with Mack is all about.
Enough about me. What's your story?
Got a business challenge? A wild idea? Something you've been putting off because you're not quite sure where to start?
